We here at AudioDealer.com are very concerned about the security of your transactions on our site. We've taken extra steps to ensure that 3rd parties will be unable to obtain your personal information.

How Do You Do It?

We use a special security technology called SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL is available on most browsers, including Netscape and Internet Explorer. When SSL is in effect, all the information you receive and all the information you send will be encoded using 40-bit encryption. This means that if a third party did intercept your information, it would be completely encoded and unreadble.

How Do I Know Its Working?

When using the AudioDealer.com order form, you should be on a secure connection. To make sure you are, check your browser's security information.

In Netscape 4.0 and later, there is a button on the top panel labeled "security." When you are connected over SSL, the padlock icon on this button will be in a closed position. In earlier versions of Netscape, there is a key icon in the lower left hand corner of your browser window. If the connection is secure, this key icon will be unbroken. Over an unsecure connection, the key icon will have a break down the middle of it.

In Internet Explorer, the bottom of the window will have a closed padlock icon as well when your connection is secure.

Be sure that these indicators are in place before you submit any sensitive information.

Who Will See My Information?

Only the AudioDealer.com staff will see the necessary information for processing your order. We also use SSL technology when processing your order, so as to continue to deter hackers.
